Working with the Post Office's internal communications team and agency, Photoshot photographers across the UK are carrying out briefs, often at short notice, focusing on stories around the group - here, a member of staff is involved in snow-boarding outside of her role with the Post Office and was the subject of an editorial feature. Working with the Royal Academy of Arts, Photoshot photographer Tom Dulat pictured Sir Norman Rosenthal, curator of the Royal Academy, in front of Dance by Henri Matisse, one of the paintings in the 'From Russia' exhibition there. Many firms these days are conscious of their need to put something back into the community - this corporate citizenship (or CSR as it is often called) also offers the opportunity to get news of a company's community activities out to a wider audience. Working with the Royal Mint to produce images to help publicise the new coinage designs being introduced later this year, we set up shots with Matthew Dent, the designer from Bangor, North Wales and issued them to the national media within 30 minutes of completing the photography. A baby Rhesus monkey nestles its head on a pigeon. The monkey had strayed from its mother shortly after birth, but luckily, was taken in by work staff in the protection centre in Neilingding Island, and became firm friends with the pigeon there.
