Russian companies start searching how to decode information from messenger apps
OMSK, RUSSIA - OCTOBER 4, 2016: The WhatsApp application icon on a smartphone screen. Russian companies have started searching the ways to decode conversations in WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook Messenger, Telegram and Skype applications. The decoding is required to implement Yarovaya's package, counter-terrorist laws proposed by Russian State Duma member Irina Yarovaya and Russian Federation Council member Viktor Ozerov and signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in July 2016.
